This type of Funding mainly applies to NVQ courses and there are certain eligibility criteria which are listed below, HOWEVER
these are changing all the time as the government attempts to restart the economy and address the training gaps in the education system so please call us for more details.

You can now access funding for second level 2 and level 3 course if it is a change of career and also funding for single units especially if they are business or IT courses.

Learners commencing a Train to Gain programme must meet the following criteria:
1. Learners must have less than 5 GCSEs grade C or above.
2. Learners must not already hold an NVQ level 2 or above.
3. Learners must be over 19 years of age on the day they start their programme.
4. Learners must not be in full-time education.
5. Learners must have been resident in an EU country for a minimum of 3 years and not for the main purpose of education.
6. Learners must have a permanent UK National Insurance number.

 

But there may also be a case for an apprenticeship.
